We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, incorrect shipping information, or circumstances beyond our control.
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout.
8. Returns, Refunds, and Order Issues
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges due to the perishable nature of our products.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise does not meet our stated standards, you must contact us within 3 days of receiving the product at dates@mightymejdool.com and include your order number and photos where applicable.
Any refund, replacement, or store credit will be issued at our sole discretion in accordance with our Refund Policy or customer service review.

Wait… didn’t you misspell Medjool?
We get that a lot! Mejdool is actually closer to the original Arabic pronunciation, and since we’re all about honouring the roots of this one-ingredient superfruit, we’re sticking with it. Same legendary date, just spelled our way. A little nod to heritage, with a Mighty twist.
Are dates actually considered a superfood?
They should be... and we’re making it happen! Dates are rich in fiber, antioxidants, and essential minerals like potassium and magnesium. In fact, just 3 Mejdool dates pack more potassium than a banana. They’re also naturally sweet, energizing, and 100% unprocessed. So... yes! Dates are a superfood. They just haven’t had the same PR team as avocados (until now).
What types of dates do you offer?
We currently offer a curated selection of premium varieties including Sukkari Gaf, Mejdool, Ajwa, Mabroom, Sagai, and Safawi: all sourced for their unique taste, texture, and quality. We're continuously exploring and tasting new harvests, and we hope to expand our offerings as we discover more exceptional dates from trusted farms.
Where are your dates sourced?
Our journey starts in the sun-drenched farms of Saudi Arabia, where dates have been cultivated for thousands of years. We partner directly with skilled farmers and trusted facilities who share our passion for quality and tradition. By staying close to the source, we’re able to bring you dates that are as fresh, flavourful, and naturally powerful as nature intended.
Are your dates organic?
Yes! Our dates are USDA Organic certified. We're currently working on a Canada Organic certification.
Are your dates pitted?
No, our dates are not pitted. Removing the pit requires extra processing, which can drive up costs and compromise the simplicity we stand for. At Mighty Mejdool, we’re committed to keeping our fuel clean, natural, and fairly priced: just the way nature intended.
Do your dates contain any added sugars?
Nope! Our dates are 100% naturally sweet. That’s the beauty of real fruit.
What is the shelf life?
Dates can stay fresh for up to a year. Whether you keep them at room temperature, in the fridge, or even freeze them, they’ll remain sweet and delicious. We also include a best-before date on each package, though we doubt you’ll let them hang around that long!
Is your packaging 100% biodegradable?
Our packaging is currently 90% biodegradable, and we've made a conscious choice to avoid the plastic boxes commonly used in the industry. While not yet fully biodegradable, we’re actively working toward 100% biodegradable solutions as we grow, ensuring we continue to offer products that are both premium and planet-conscious.
How do you ensure product safety?
We pack and handle every order in a food-grade facility with a current CFIA certificate. Our team wears biodegradable nitrile (latex-free) gloves during all handling and packing, and we follow strict hygiene and sanitation protocols at every step from receiving to shipping.

Absolutely. Dates are a natural source of quick and sustained energy, rich in potassium, fiber, and natural sugars: perfect for a pre- or post-workout snack.
Are they safe for kids and pregnant women?
Yes! Dates are a great snack for families. They’ve even been traditionally recommended to support labor and pregnancy in many cultures.
Are dates safe for people with diabetes?
Yes, dates can be safely enjoyed by people with diabetes when eaten in moderation. They have a low to moderate glycemic index (GI) and are rich in fiber, which helps slow the absorption of sugar into the bloodstream. Because dates contain natural sugars (not added or refined ones), they’re often a better alternative to processed sweets.
