As someone who used to go to bazars with my mom and choose dates in bulk ( not packaging ) i find these dates clean and fresh looking! Then following my moms advice i wash a date or two and eat it but these dates are shiny from the box! I forgot my moms advice and had a few right away! They are really Premium and so yummy! We ordered a kilo of each after ordering the initial trial box! The freshness of these dates is what visually me first then the taste….totaly recommend and we are waiting the jumbo delivery of 3 kilos!

I’m officially obsessed! Sagai dates just became my absolute favorite. They have the perfect soft texture and aren't overly sweet. Do yourself a favor and skip the supermarket dates, give Sagai a try instead!!!

Purchased these for my mom who is a diabetic, these dates are amazing for regulating her blood sugar when it is low. Would highly recommend, tastes amazing, helps with regulating blood sugar, very fresh, 10/10 overall!

To be completely honest, we were disappointed. Maybe it just happened to be the package we received but the dates were dry and not flavourful at all. Hubby and I have tasted the different dates when we were in the UAE, that's why we were so excited when we saw the gentleman from The Might Medjool on CTV Morning Live but the product we were sent was definitely disappointing. Sorry :o(
Hi Joanne, this is Mustafa from Mighty Mejdool, the gentleman from the CTV segment. Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I’m sorry to hear the dates weren’t what you expected.
We have many customers from Gulf and Middle Eastern backgrounds who order from us often, and we never hear feedback about the dates being dry or lacking flavour, so your experience is unusual. The four varieties in the Starter Pack are naturally on the firmer side, with Mejdool being the softest, which can feel very different from the moist varieties you may have had in the UAE. There's a big difference between our Sukkari Gaf and something like Sukkari Rotab; the latter being naturally more moist.
Moisture levels vary a lot between date types and even harvests. There are more than a thousand varieties worldwide, each with its own texture and moisture level.
