I’m so happy that I have been introduced these new to me varieties of dates. It’s honestly tough to choose a favourite between sukkari gaf and sukkari galaxy, so I just bought both to satisfy my newfound love, and an additional MSP box to gift to my dad (everyone needs to try these!).
The cherry on top of ordering these gorgeous dates, is the customer service. There was a slight hiccup with my most recent order, no biggie. I sent a brief email, they responded within an hour going above and beyond to remedy the hiccup and by this morning was completely rectified.
It’s one thing to have a company with great product… but having owners who care about their product AND customers really takes it to the next level.

The taste is rich and naturally sweet without being overwhelming. They are soft, fresh, and have the perfect texture, not too dry and not too sticky. You can really tell they are high quality.
I also love how clean and well-packaged they are. Every date looks good and tastes consistent. They’re perfect for a quick snack, with tea, or even for serving guests.

I can't pick a favourite between Sukkari Galaxy and Sukkari Gaf! The Gaf has amazing flavour and the Galaxy melts in your mouth. Get 'em both, you won't regret it.

That was my first time trying the Sukkari Gaf variety and I was pleasantly surprised, their flavor is in-between caramel and maple syrup. I brought some as a snack on a recent (freezing) ski day and they powered me until the very last run. Give them a shot!

Purchased these for my mom who is a diabetic, these dates are amazing for regulating her blood sugar when it is low. Would highly recommend, tastes amazing, helps with regulating blood sugar, very fresh, 10/10 overall!

I kept seeing in the reviews that these dates were caramelly in taste and texture. Which I thought is perfect—I use dates primarily as a natural sweetener and boost of fibre in oatmeal, baking etc.
So when I think of caramel I go immediately to sugar and cream, sweet and moist and chewy, with the classic toasted sugar notes. I found these fibrous and dry and certainly far less sweet and flavourful than what you get in the grocery store. It’s not terrible, just not exactly as described. And a lower sugar content and more fibre isn’t a bad thing either. The colour though is caramel. ;-)
Can’t fault the product. It’s just a mismatch to the expectation I had.
