The Sagai dates from Mighty Mejdool were a pleasant surprise

The sagai dates from Mighty Mejdool were a surprise. They have a unique two-tone texture: slightly firm on one side and soft, sweet on the other. Not overly sugary, just right. Perfect with a cup of coffee or tea. What I loved most is how consistent the quality was across the whole box: no dry or broken ones. It’s clear Mighty Mejdool really cares about premium quality

Thanks so much, M. Al! What a detailed review... we really appreciate it. :') Sagai really is special with that mix of firm and soft texture, and we’re glad you enjoyed the balance of flavour. Happy to hear the quality came through in every bite!

Mighty Dates from Mighty Medjool

I ordered the Sagai dates and they were absolutely amazing, really high quality and super fresh. I also tried the sample pack and loved the variety it came with, it gave me a chance to taste different types and I was honestly surprised by how good the Medjool was. Packaging was great too, and the little touch with the mint seeds in the thank you card was something I didn’t expect at all. You can tell a lot of thought went into the whole experience. I’d definitely order again.

Thanks so much, Abdul-Rehman! We’re really glad you enjoyed both the Sagai and the Starter Pack. Medjool is always a pleasant surprise. We're thrilled you noticed the little details too, like the mint seed thank-you card. Appreciate the thoughtful feedback and we look forward to your next order. :D

Sagai has beautiful texture and flavour

Beautiful texture and flavour. Subtle and nutty just as described. The graphics on the site and the find your fuel section made it easy to figure out which one I'd like. I know about dates but am not familiar with the variety available

Thanks for both your reviews, Gamal! Sagai really does have that subtle, nutty flavour that makes it special. I'm happy the Find Your Fuel section helped you pick; it's been helping many others explore our variety as well. It’s all about making it easier to explore the amazing variety of dates out there!

FAQs

Head to our FAQs page to find out more.

Are dates actually considered a superfood?

They should be — and we’re making it happen. Dates are rich in fiber, antioxidants, and essential minerals like potassium and magnesium. In fact, just 3 Mejdool dates pack more potassium than a banana. They’re also naturally sweet, energizing, and 100% unprocessed. So yes — dates are a superfood. They just haven’t had the same PR team as avocados (until now).

Are dates good for workouts or active lifestyles?

Absolutely. Dates are a natural source of quick and sustained energy, rich in potassium, fiber, and natural sugars — perfect for a pre- or post-workout snack.

Are dates safe for people with diabetes?

Yes — dates can be safely enjoyed by people with diabetes when eaten in moderation. They have a low to moderate glycemic index (GI) and are rich in fiber, which helps slow the absorption of sugar into the bloodstream. Because dates contain natural sugars (not added or refined ones), they’re often a better alternative to processed sweets. We recommend enjoying them in small portions and, when possible, pairing them with a source of protein or healthy fat — and as always, checking in with a healthcare provider for personalized guidance.
